Scottie Bob
Male
A phone call from the MSPCA Animal Care and Adoption
Center to STCNE Rescue got the ball rolling for Scottie Bob.
It seems that Scottie Bob was picked up on the streets of
Boston as a stray. It looked as though he had been on the
streets for a long time and his hair was a mess when he was
brought in. The people at the MSPCA gave him a good bath and
close haircut before they could check him out health wise.
During his health check it was determined that Scottie Bob
had a large cancerous tumor in his bladder and it could not
be operated on due to its position. He was given four to six
months to live, and the MSPCA was hoping to find a family
that would love and care for Scottie Bob for his remaining
time.
Three days after STCNE Rescue got the info, Scottie Bob
was on his way to his new home, where he would be loved and
cared for, for the rest of his life.
We are happy to report that Scottie Bob is doing very
well on his medications and vitamins, and fits in just great
with the other Scotties in his new home. He is a very
happy-go-lucky Scottie, barks at everyone, runs around like
crazy, and is enjoying life to the fullest !
